(b) that、who、why、when、where、prep.+which/who/whom、whose+n.、than、but只可引导限定性定语从句

A. But surely that doesn't mean environmentalists concerned about uncontrolled industrial growth are antiscience, as an essay in US NEWS last May seemed to suggest.
B. But surely that doesn't mean environmentalists, as an essay in US NEWS last May seemed to suggest, concerned about uncontrolled industrial growth are antiscience.
C. But surely that doesn't mean, as an essay in US NEWS last May seemed to suggest, environmentalists concerned about uncontrolled industrial growth are antiscience.
D. But surely that, as an essay in US NEWS last May seemed to suggest, doesn't mean environmentalists concerned about uncontrolled industrial growth are antiscience.
E. But surely as an essay in US NEWS last May seemed to suggest, that doesn't mean environmentalists concerned about uncontrolled industrial growth are antiscience.
其中A、B、C同义,D、E同义。
A、B、C:environmentalists ... antiscience都是suggest的逻辑宾语,从句表肯定;D、E:that开始的所有内容都是suggest的逻辑宾语,从句表否定
