      As is vividly depicted in the picture, two children are backing home happily, followed with their elderly grandparents who are carrying their book-crammed heavy bags with breathless.
     Simple it is, what the picture conveys to us is though-provoking. It is the heavy burden on school children that makes out this situation. As is known to all that china’s education has long attached great importance to academic achievements. The fact that a primary student has to work hard until midnight in some places reveals one of the defects of the traditional knowledge-based education: the students are overburdened with home assignments, crammed with too many intellectual facts, and blindly working for high grades in exams under an outdated teaching method. In my opinion, too much academic burden on primary school student is unappropriate, for these children are too young to take such heavy studies. With the development of our society, the quality-oriented educational goal is highly advocated.
    Hence it is imperative for us to take some measures to improve/modify the educational mode on primary students and reduce their burden. For one thing, our authority concerned should establish some laws and regulations on this issue. For another, a bamboo is not grown in one day, therefore our parents should not give too much pressure on the students, though every parents wish their children a bright future. Only in this way our country have a brilliant future.
