1.what are the differences between foreign language learning and second language learning?
In the past, the term ‘foreign language’ was widely used in contrast to ‘native language’. In recent years the other term ‘second language’ has been increasingly applied for all types of non-native language leaning. Mostly the two are used synonymously, but in certain cases a conceptual distinction in expressed in the use of the ‘second’ or ‘foreign’.
Foreign language: it indicates the use of English in a non–English-speaking region. Study can occur either in the student\'s home country, as part of the normal school curriculum or otherwise, or, for the more privileged minority, in an Anglophone country that they visit as a sort of educational tourist, particularly immediately before or after graduating from university.
Second language: The purpose of second language learning is often different from foreign language learning. Since the second language is frequently the official language or one or two or more recognized languages, it is needed ‘for full participation in the political and economic life of the nation’. Or it may be the language needed for education.

Five closely related factors contribute to making an interactive classroom interactive and they are:
(1) Reducing the central and traditional position of the teacher;(
(2) Appreciating the uniqueness of individuals;

(5) Allowing choices, both in relation to what students say and how they say it.

As for me,I prefer those active and have a strong sense of self-responsibility in their study.and the most important is that they know what they have or have not known, and know what they want to learn in study .For these students, the learner-centered approach can serve them best because they will in most cases be eager to seek chances for learning, and can learn actively and efficiently with the teacher\'s appropriate guidance and help

A Weekend to Remember
My sister finished high school two weeks ago.As a special gift, our parents took us to India.
Last weekend was interesting but scary. We went camping in a small village in India. First, we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside. There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.On the first night, we just sat under the moon and told each other stories.But I was so tired that I went to sleep early.The next morning, my sister and I got a terrible surprise.When we looked out of our tent, we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire.I was so scared that I couldn’t move.We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger. Ma dad started to jump up and down in their tent.This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake.
My dad told me later that snakes don’t have ears but can feel things moving.
He also told me it was important not to go near a snake.This was a very useful lesson for me.
