本人发布继上期发布第二段阅读理解，然后解析问题，对你的阅读理解绝对有很大很大的帮助。本练习出自《考研英语不读胜读》。

(1)     这个词在此处出现暗含两个意思：这些有影响力的人的重要性是大家应该指望的。眼下之意就是，事实很有可能与大家的指望不一样：这种大家应该指望的重要性也就是上文刚刚提到过的这件事。注意THE的出现，通常意味着这个十五在上文中刚刚被提到过的。聪明的同学，应该立刻反应过来作者刚才第一段中对于那个观点的是批评的态度。这也为本端文脉的发展定下一个基调：批评为主。

(2)     “从…….提纯、提炼而来”：在社会科学领域，表示“来源于”。此处表明上文中提到的观点源于什么什么理论。

(3)     该词在英文中是很微妙的：貌似有道理的。言下之意也就是“没道理的”时候居多。再结合一下下面的but largely untested,我们立刻发现作者的真是意图还是对这个观点的继续打压。

(4)     拥抱。

(5)     草率，粗率的。

(6)     铁事，铁闻的。
