We have entered an age of online shopping literally.As illustrated vividly in the picture,a man is attempting to walking into the screen of his computer,with an empty shopping cart in hand,which implies his intention of purchasing a lot on the Internet.At the bottom of this picture,a slogan underlines this fact,saying"you can get whatever you want with the Internet".
This picture reveals the prevalence of online shopping,which can be proved by the recent extensive transactions on Taobao. Two factors mainly account for this phenomenon.For one thing,with improved living standards,people have had a stronger power of consumption,which requires a diversity of commodities in turn.For another,shopping websites managed to make it a reality that different items,such as household appliances and garments,can be selected at the same time.It is these websites' capability to transform shopping into a convenient and efficient activity that brings them success.
In my opinion,online shopping do accelerate this high-paced society functioning to some extent.However,we should notice its drawbacks as well.For example,there are considerable deceits among online trading.To address such problem,the government should fashion the laws and regulations so that they can be applied to new situation.What's more,the traders,including both the sellers and the buyers,are supposed to stick to the principle of honesty.Only if we develop the online shopping reasonably can we make the best use of it.
