一、翻译（一篇35分，有两篇，共70分）
（一）来自《卫报》
This obscure requirement for the modern and liberated woman to “be herself” feels increasingly pernicious. While we should give Dove credit for its mission to inspire confidence in women, however wobbly the premise, I fear the modern panic it helps create. There was that side-eyed term, “real women”-- authenticity is currency, especially for women. But only if the authentic you is not insecure, or whimsical, or sad, or has that old worry chewing at her throat -- that she would be more lovable if she was whiter, thinner, blonde. Only if the authentic you believes not only that your body is beautiful but that beauty really matters.

    At least the old pressure was prescriptive. You could see the edges of it, you could walk around it, subvert it, laugh at it, chuck it in the bin. To “be yourself”, when that means to appear confident, happy, brave and healthy, takes more than Botox -- it requires, among other things, a denial of all the societal crap that has brought you to a place where you feel the need to cover up those parts of your personality that are deemed unattractive. The problem with “be yourself” is the insistence that, rather than the culture, the adverts, the media and the politics, it is still you who needs to change.
对于思想解放了的现代女性而言，“做自己”这种不清不楚的要求越来越有害无益。虽然我们赞许多芬的这项旨在激发女性自信心的行为，但是不论结论的前提有多么站不住脚，这项活动助长的现代恐慌还是令人心悸。首先出现了一个令人侧目的表述：“真正的女性”——（尤其对于女性来说）要真实才能吃得开。然而只有当那个真实的自己不患得患失、不想入非非、不愁容满面、不郁结于心，那么变得更白、更瘦、更加金发碧眼才能更加可爱。想要如此，那个真实的自己不仅要相信自己的身体是美丽的，还要相信美丽的确非常重要。
好在由来已久的压力是“规范”的，你能够看到它的边界，能够围着它踱步，能够推翻它，嘲笑它，把它扔进垃圾桶里。而要“做自己”，就是要让自己看起来自信、快乐、勇敢、健康，需要的不仅仅是肉毒杆菌。最重要的，是要摈弃社会上的那些迫使你去掩盖自己的特质，因为在别人看来不够美丽的无稽之谈。“做自己”就是在坚信：需要改变的不是文化、不是广告、不是媒体、不是政治，而是你自己。


（二）没有搜到完整的  
重阳节是最好的赏秋时期，中国南方还有些山区村落保留了“晒秋”特色。去乡村赏民俗、看晒秋，已成为乡村旅游的一种时尚。“晒秋”是一种典型的农俗现象，具有极强的地域特色。在湖南、广西、安徽、江西等生活在山区的村民，由于地势复杂，村庄平地极少，只好利用房前屋后及自家窗台屋顶架晒、挂晒农作物，久而久之就演变成一种传统农俗现象。
二、听力（共80分）
（一）20个类似大学英语六级第一题的那种选择题，一个1分，20道；
（二）六个短对话，难度相当于专八听力的section B Interview，一个2分，20道题；
（三）Dictation
是从VOA 或者BBC新闻里，挖空，听写空的那几个词，10个空，每空2分；

① China plans to drastically cut the number of climbers allowed to take on Mount Everest in 2019 and limit the climbing season to spring, according to state media.

② The total number of climbers attempting to reach the summit from the north side will be capped at 300 this year, a third fewer than normal, as the country begins a large-scale clean-up of the world\'s highest peak.

③ Rubbish collected will include plastic bags, oxygen tanks, tents and cooking equipment, plus the bodies of climbers who died while more than 8,000m up the mountain.

④ China has set up stations to sort, recycle and break down the rubbish; on the Nepalese side, mountaineering expedition organisers have started sending large waste bags with climbers during the spring climbing season to collect trash that can be winched back to base camp by helicopters.

⑤ Some 60,000 climbers and guides visit the Chinese side of the 8,850m mountain each year, known in China by its Tibetan name, Mount Qomolangma, which means \"Goddess of mother snows\". However, the number of people who reached the top was just 648 in 2017.

最近，一则关于“珠峰无限期关闭”的消息刷屏了，无数网友感叹攀登珠峰的梦想可能只会是梦了。虽然这则新闻随后被证实为不完全属实，但为了更好地保护珠峰环境，官方确实表示，今年从珠峰北坡登山的人次将限制在300人以内，此外珠峰国家级自然保护区绒布寺（海拔5150m）以上的核心区也将禁止进入。

出于对自身安全的考虑，登山者会沿路丢弃垃圾以减轻负重，所以珠峰随处可见氧气罐、登山装备、帐篷、食品包装等。2018年春季登山季期间，西藏登山管理部门进行了三次大规模垃圾清理，收集清理各类生活垃圾、登山垃圾、排泄物等8.4吨。

珠峰的垃圾清理需要漫长的时间，虽然珠峰不会关闭，但我们也不得不反思，对于这座我们心中的“圣山”，如果没有保护，又何谈攀登这一梦想？
