18届英语作文救命稻草

作为一个英语渣，考场写出这样的作文，自己也被自己感动了。当然主要还是得感谢王江涛道长的指导，所以1对英语作文没信心的18年考生，去听一下王江涛的课，绝对有所裨益（尚有语法错误，请见谅）
The old saying goes that, \"your attitude, not your aptitude, determines your altitude\", as the set of drawings above clearly revealed. In the left picture, it seems rather ironic to show a young person luxuriating his fantastic dream, while a good many books are put in front of him. The subtitle indicates that I have so many books. As is shown in the right drawing, another hard-learning student is trying his best to read books. But he only has several books and yells that I am willing to finish 20 books this year.



Undoubtedly, we can deduce from these thought- provoking and metaphorical drawings that the cartoonist is trying to attract our attention to attitide and persistence. As a nation renowned in the world for many of its virtues, Chinese people have been practicing the virtue of persistence throughout the history. Many much-told stories have reiterated this time-honored virtue, like the story of Su Qin,  the prime minister of six states, who has tied his hair on the house beam and jabbed his thigh with a needle to keep him awake, and eventually become one of the most prominent and excellent strategist in the Spring-autumn and Warring-states Period.

From my perspective, all dreams are of no account unless they are followed by action. Just as Dale Carnegie said, \"flaming enthusiasm, backed up by horse sense and persistence, is the quality that most frequently makes for success\". Accordingly, it is imperative for us to put our dreams and plans into action. Only by doing this can we become winners in this competitive world, and only in this way can we not go against the grain of the name of a Chinese.
