Applicants are welcome to apply for a PhD position at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, The University of Newcastle, Australia. We are seeking talented applicants who have strong interests in one or more of the following areas: Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Data Analytics.

The successful applicants will receive:
a) The standard living allowance, A$26,288 per year (tax-free).
b) Relocation support, A$1520.00.
c) Single Health Cover, A$2295.00.
d) Research-related expense  A$1000
Tuition Fees are waivered for the duration of the scholarship. The applicants need to have IELTS score of 6.5 or above.

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science has a strong research profile in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Software Engineering.
