上期（3.2）发布题目，答案详解

本练习出自《考研英语不读胜读》

现我们接着3-2号的阅读理解发布题目和答案的解析。

1.      Human ingenuity was initiallydemonstrated in______

A.     the use of machines to producescience fiction

B.     the wide use of machines inmanufacturing industry

C.     the invention of tools fordifficult and dangerous work

D.     the elite’s cunning tackling ofdangerous and boring work

解析：这是一道细节题。题干的Human ingenuity直接定位到第一句。A选项中science fiction是在最后一局出现的，显然这是移花接木的错误。B选项认为人类创造力第一次表现在制造产业广泛使用机器的时代。这个根本无法找到，无中生有。C中invention正是原文中decised的同义替换，而且既然知道答案应定位到第一句中，无论是否看懂原文，都应该看出human ingenuity和decised…tools有联系。选项D打扮得非常耀眼，用了cunning,dangerous和boring work酷似原文的内容，这题很多考生都容易选D。小心了，越是接近原文的也许越是错的。
