Tell about yourself ——self-introduce



Good morning ,Professors,I’m glad to be here for this interview.First, let me introduce myself to you.My name is xxx.I am 21 years old.I come from xx,a very beautiful ancicent city in xx province.My undergratuade period will be accomplished in Shandong Normal University in July,2012.In the last year I have been prepareing for the postgraduate examination,now all my hard work has got a result since I have an opptunity to be interviewed by you.

And now, I am trying my best for a further study in Nanking University in my loving field——Histoy of Chinese thought.

I am a hard-working student, and an easy-going person.In my spare time,I like reading books,especially thouse about Histoy of Chinese thought.

I always believe that one will easilly lag behind unless he keeps on learning.Of course,if I am given a chance to study Histoy of Chinese thought in this famous university,I will spare no effort to master a good command of my professional knowledge.

General questions



为什么考研？



First,I have a significant interest in history of Chinese thought,and I want a further education in this field.

The second one is I am long for doing research through my life.It’s a plersure to be my favorite thing for lifetime.

Thirdly,I love the feeling in the university.It is full of youthful spirit.And I am deeply attracted by the academic atmosphere.I can widen my knowledge,broaden my horizon,what’t more,it can make myself’s study more free,professional and efficiential.

In a word,I am looking forward to making a solid foundation for future study ,that’s why I take the postgraduate exams.



为什么选择南京大学？



First of all,Nanjing University is my dream.I put my heart in the study in order to make up for the regret in the colleg entrance examination.Besides,Nanjing University is the key university in China,with academic excellence and many famous professors.What’s more,I love bridges and pavilions in the mist in the south China..

In short, after much consideration,I decided to choose NanjingUniversity for further study.I am longing to be a member of this university,and make contributions foe it in the future.



为什么报考中国思想史？



i fell in love with the history of chinese thought gradually.i have widely read books before but i dont think it's deep enough .since i read some works on history of thought ,i have been deeply addicted to it .the culture of china has a long history.donging research on the history of chinese thought can not only help us know more thoughts in the past,but also give modern china a chance to draw lessons from it.most importantly,we can know ourselves better to lead a rich and free life.that is to say,doing research on the history if chinese thought is a way to know our own mind.at present,we can know our responsibility in this era only by learning the thought in the past.



你的论文是怎样写作的？



My thesis topic is "Rewiew on the Study Theory of  the Thought History of China”. At the beginning, I finished the report of the thesis, including the reason why I choose this topic, its meaning, outline, historical materials etc; Then, to collect the rich materials, in the first semester of my junior year, I browsed through many books in the library, reference room and CNKI website; During the summer vacation, I began to read these materials I collected before. By the end of the first semester of the senior year, I completed the first draft and modification.

Through the writing of the thesis, I acquired the basic academic training, accumulating some basic academic experience. I wrote the thesis according to the outline without formality, using both the printed materials and computer. I think it will be helpful to my future academic research.



你怎样评价自己？



I'm a hard-working student, and I’m willing to strive for my dreams; I am easygoing, also a bit independent but I’m good at teamwork.As to my character,I can’t describe it well,but I know I am optimistic and confident.Sometime,I prefer to stay alone,reading books,listening to music,but I am not lonely,I like to chat with my best friends,almost talk everything.




介绍一下你的家乡.



My hometown is xx ,a small city with a long hitory over 6000 years.It is the center of xx  province.Some celebrities were born here,for instance,Xushen,the author of the fist dictionary of China, Analytical Dictionary of Characters.There are many historic relics in Henan,which is very useful to the research of history and culture of China.For instance,the first Chinese bone flute was discovered in the wuyang jiahu site.

This is my beloved hometown.



介绍一下你的家人.



There are four members in my family:my parents,my sister and me.

My father is s technician in a factory which far from home.So most of the housework is done by my industrious mom.My parents proud of me, of course, I am proud of them。During my preparation for  the exams and coming here,my parents’ love and support have always been my power.And I hope in the near futuer I will be able to repay them.



介绍一下你的大学.



A few momths  later, I will graduate from Shandong Normal University,one of the famous universities of Shandong Province.My feeling of the alma mater is contradict.I still remember,on the first day when I came to this campus,I think she is grand and full of energy.Yet four years later, I find it is managing in a machinery way and bad order.But I respect my teachers very much.They are dedicated and treat students as their children.They care about and support me in my daily life and study.It’s time to graduate.I hope my alma mater wil turn better and better.




介绍一下对你影响最深的一位大学老师（谁给你影响最大？）



In my four years’ college life,Professor Tian  gave the most deeply impression.His class is never tiresome.He never follows the book machinerily,but combines the knowledge with his life and teaching expereience.In one of his class in grade two,he taught us History of Confuciansm at that time.He told us that if you don’t work hard,how can you succeed.I was shocked at that sentence and also learn a lot from its deep meaning.Thanks to Professor Tian.



考上研究生后，你的打算.



If luckily I got the chance to learn environment History of Chinese thought in Nanking University,I will concentrate on the study and reserch in this field.Fisrt,I will hard to learn the theoritical knowledge, constucting a solid base for my future research;second,I would like to do some practical work with the help of the supervisor and classmate.And through this,I can get something that cannot be acquired from the texttbooks.Three years later, I will continue to study, PhD, a deeper study of the history of Chinese thought, at the same time, I also won't drop learning English, I plan to study English and lay the foundation for study abroad.
