音乐简介：

音乐讲述的是历史上巴比伦之囚的故事。那时很多犹太乐师被掠夺到巴比伦，当然还有其他的工匠。国王命令乐师为其演奏，乐师们宁死不屈。国王大怒，把这些人的双手都砍了。他们坐在巴比伦河边彻夜哭泣……

这首音乐的旋律极其优美流畅，节奏明快奔放。但是当我们随着那轻松、恬静、安祥、流水般的乐曲，想象和回味着背井离乡的犹太囚徒正身处逆境、漂泊异国他乡的滋味，仿佛看到一幅残忍凄凉的景像：正处于生不如死、水深火热之中的犹太人，仍在苦苦的思恋着自己家乡的小溪、绿野、田埂和稻香……音乐作者运用天堂、理想国和离乡的人们作比较，与人们的悲伤形成鲜明的对比。坐在巴比伦河畔，伤心的人们似乎在泣诉：巴比伦河啊，你静静地流淌，夜色是多么安祥，可是你哪里知道，就在你的身旁，我们被的异乡人有多么的凄凉，愿圣上也能知道我们的心声，我们的祈祷和冥想……

极其矛盾的是，这首本该是用来描述悲壮的思乡之情的音乐，后来却更多的拿来表达幸福快乐的心境……之所以这样，我想那是因为她那流畅、明快、奔放的旋律的缘故吧。

乐队简介：歌曲演唱Boney M(波尼"M)乐队是前西德的演唱组合，她不仅是一支在上个世纪七八十年代风靡一时的迪斯科乐队，更是整个迪斯科时代的一个传奇、缩影和代表。这支乐队在上世纪70年代末80年代初雄踞欧洲音乐排行榜之首。Boney M乐队成员来自西群岛、牙买加等地。制作人是弗朗克. 菲林 (Frank Fariam)。1977年他们以一曲《Daddy Cool》走红，特有的迪斯科韵味，加之当时美国风行迪斯科热潮，因而乐队大受欢迎。自那以后，Boney M 的周单曲销量高达10万张，录有这首歌的专辑《TaketheHeatOffme》也随之火爆。 Boney M 名字的由来也同样富有传奇色彩。在乐队组建前期，乐队的制作人Frank Farian正在制作歌曲“Baby Do You Wanna Bump”的时候，还没有真正意义上的乐队和乐队的名字。有一天Farian看到一部澳大利亚电视连续剧中的男主角--一个警察, 他的名字叫Boney，他不仅喜欢这部电视剧中的这位英雄 , 而且他觉得Boney将会是一个很好的名字。但是他还觉得缺点什么,就开始从字母中寻找，最后 Boney M这个名字诞生了。
创作背景：

巴比伦河在美索不达米亚平原，位于伊拉克和伊朗之间。据说《巴比伦河》的曲调最初是牙买加的民间音乐，1969年由歌手Brent Dowe、Tony Brevette、 and Trevor McNaughton根据《圣经》赞美诗137：1填词，当时歌词的大体意思是：公元前586年，奴役者命令流放在巴比伦的犹太人一起唱歌。但此时此刻犹太人哪有心情唱歌，因为他们的圣城耶路撒冷已被敌人占领，要唱的话，也只能是大声唱出自己的心声——自由。1972年《巴比伦河》收录在音乐片《the Harder they come》, 该片向世界展示了优美的牙买加的民间音乐。 1978年，BONEY M首次演唱了具有迪斯科风格的《巴比伦河》（歌词略作改动），在欧洲乐坛引起巨大轰动，单曲销量创下了英国唱片史上的纪录。随后两三年，他们的许多歌在世界各个排行榜占有一席之地。从此在全世界广为流传。他们擅长将一些老歌改编成迪斯科节奏的舞曲，而给他们改编的老歌总是别具一格，重放异彩，一下成为热门歌曲，令歌迷拍案叫绝。代表作有《巴比伦河》、《梦中的妈妈》……
