说起来可能有点晚，但是我确实才刚看完料理鼠王

顺手摘了一篇文章 有点长
但是 如果你真的想学好英语 就一处都别放过
不要只喊口号 要真的行动



最喜欢这部电影的结尾：
曾经视美食为生命的科伯先生，
因为对老鼠做的东西做了一次公平的评价，
他的信誉和名声扫地，再也做不了美食评论家。


　　
我记得他之前的家和他的穿着。
暗色西装笔挺，衬衫领口塞着小围巾，
长长的走廊两边挂着猩红的窗帘，
他坐在大厅的尽头咔嗒咔嗒地打着写字机。
那姿态，颇有点指点江山的感觉。
他喜欢提起自己小食指，指着对面的人说话，
他很高，因为经常要俯视别人，所以有点驼背。
就是他，喝着红酒写美食影评，
用似褒实贬的语气批评厨神餐厅是意大利快餐食品的典范。


　　
很庆幸这个人的高贵不是伪装的，他敢于面对自己错误的判断。
当他认识到感动自己的饭菜是一个老鼠做的，
在一夜长坐之后，写下了这样的美食评论：


　　"In many ways the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But, the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things ... the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.






　　"But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends."






　　价值观颠倒是造成人无力向善的根源。向善的科伯先生写完这篇评论以后就再也不是美食评论家了。他戴着瓜皮小帽，围着普通老年人才会围的灰白围巾，成为了一个小企业家，却能享受天下独一的美食。


　　小老鼠的烹调成为一个秘密，“我虽在江湖，但江湖却没有我的传说”。它热心于无名的烹饪，绽露自己的天才，也许要在有一天它死后才能被发现：原来那么多人称赞的食物出自无名鼠辈之手。




　　最后提一提这里面的特色英文学习：


　　It s the purest fact, we French know the truth
　　这是最纯的事实， 我们法国人知道真相


　　The Best Food in the World is made in France (法语发音：Fu Rang Si)


　　The Best Food in France is made in Paris (法语发音：Pa re)


　　and the Best food in Paris some say（“有一些人说”，这种说法就意味着一个“故事”的开始） is made by Chef ...Gusteau。


　　Chef Gusteau's restaurant is the toast（Toast 意识是干杯，但在这里toast 代表在巴黎被人们庆贺的） of Paris, booked 5 months in advance（提前五个月订位）, and it's dazzling（指的是耀眼的登上..) itself to the top of the French cuisine（发音：k u e zing) has made its competors..envious（羡慕）.


　　He is the youngest chef to achieve a five star rating.（最年轻得到五星级的评价的厨师）


　　Chef Gusteau's book "Anyone can cook" climbs to the top of the best seller's list（热卖书榜首）..but not everyone has rendered（给与) its success (0:32) 但不是每一个人都给与优等的评价。


　　以上这一段话有法国口音，但是我觉得讲得还蛮有味道。。


　　镜头转向著名饮食大师 Anton Ego:
　　Amusing title（很有意识）.."Anyone can cook" ..What's even more amusing is that...is that Gusteau seemed to believe it. I on the other hand..take cooking seriously..I don't think anyone can do it. (0:45)
　　... （注意Anton 说话的语气。。一副很正经的样子，语气傲慢。。注意他停顿的地方。。声音的起伏。。一般上流社会也爱用这种口音。。大家可以参考参考）


　　小老鼠讲故事开始。。


　　Remy:


　　This is me..I think it is apparent（很明显的） that I rethink my life for a moment （我需要回想我的人生）


　　What is my problem?


　　first of all, I'm a rat（我是只老鼠）..which means life is hard..second,I have a highly developed（非常强的，一般指不寻常的） taste and smell


　　flour, eggs, sugar, vanilla bean(? 不能确认最后一个字)..oh a small twist of lemon (Twist 代表挤一点柠檬..以后在酒吧里可以这么点。。Coke with a twist of lemon-可乐加柠檬)


　　Remy's brother:


　　You can smell all that（你什么都闻得出啊）? You have a gift!（字面使你拥有个礼物。。意识是你又一种别人没有或不及的能力）


　　Remy:


　　This is Emil, my brother..he is easily impressed. （它很容易就感到满意）




　　Remy's father：


　　So he can smell ingredients, so what?
　　看来他有嗅出痛惜成分的能力， 那又怎么样？


　　Remy:


　　This is my dad,he's never impressed.. he also happened to be the leader of the clang（Remy的爸爸也是他们族群的领袖）..


　　Remy says to his dad:


　　So what is wrong with having highly developed senses?
　　有超人感应能力，那也错了吗？


　　Whoa whoa whoa...dont eat that
　　等等。。那东西不能吃 （还记得我上课教过的吗？）


　　Remy's father:


　　What s going on here?
　　发生了什么事？




　　Remy:


　　Turns out that funny smell was rat poison.
　　原来那怪怪的味道是“毒药”


　　Suddenly, dad doesn't think my talent was useless.
　　突然之间，爸爸不在将我的天赋看成是没有用的东西了


　　I was feeling pretty good about my gift... until dad gave me a job.
　　正当我对我的能力感到满意。。我爸爸给了我一份活干





　　That's right "poison checker"
　　没错。。“查毒员”


　　....Never mind .. go on
　　算了。。走吧


　　Well, that made my dad proud..
　　因为那样，我爸爸感到和骄傲




　　Remy's father:


　　Don't you feel better Remy? You've helped a noble cause
　　感觉还不错吧？你帮了我们一个大忙。(Noble cause高尚的举动）


　　Remy:


　　Noble? What..but we are thieves, dad...and what we're stealing is ..let's face it.."Garbage"!
　　高尚？ 但我们都是小偷 爸爸。。还有我们偷的都是。。现实一点说。。都是“垃圾”


　　Remy's father:
　　It isn't stealing if no one wants it..
　　没人要的东西不叫偷。。（电影里常常喜欢隐藏大道理）


　　Remy:


　　If no one wants it, why are we stealing?
　　如果没人要，我们为什么要偷呢？


　　Let's just say..we have different points of view..this much I know..
　　这么说吧。。我们在意见上观点不一致。。这一点我是很肯定的


　　If "you are what you eat" thenI only want to eat the good stuff
　　如果说 “你吃什么就代表你是什么样的人”那么我只要吃好东西。


　　but to my dad:


　　Food is fuel, get picky with what you put in the tank, your engine is gonna die. Now shut up and eat your garbage.
　　食物就是汽油， 如果你对胶乳你又想的又太挑剔的话，你的引擎将会死去。现在给我住嘴。。吃你的垃圾吧。


　　Remy:
　　If we're gonna be thieves, why don't we steal the "good stuff" from the kitchen, where there s no poison.
　　如果我们是小偷，要不我们去厨房偷一些“好吃的东西”。。那里的东西没有毒


　　Remy's father:
　　First of all, we are not thieves! Secondly stay out of the kitchen and away from the humans..it's dangerous.
　　首先，我们不是小偷！第二远离厨房和人类。。他们很危险。


　　Remy:
　　I know I m suppose to hate humans but there's something about them.. they don t just survive..they discover...they create..they just..look at the way they do with the food..
　　我知道我是应该憎恨人类但是他们有体重说不出的。。他们不单单为活着而活着。。他们会发现。。会创造。。就拿他们对待饮食来说吧。。。


　　TV Gusteau:
　　How could I describe it? Good food is like music..you can taste,color, you can smell...There s excellence all around you...You only need to stop to consider it
　　我怎么来形容呢？好吃的食品就相音乐。。你可以尝到味道。。颜色。。你可以闻到。。实在太美妙了。。你只要定下心来感受它。
