基础英语
1.选词填空，15选10，有点像六级的那种。
2.完形填空，20道。
3.选择题。是每句话有一个划线单词，让你从四个选项中选一个能替代它的单词。所以词汇还是趁早背吧。
4.阅读题，四篇，最后一篇是以填空的形式，不过基本上都可以从文章里找到答案，不算难。
5.作文，大概就是说房屋紧缺问题十分严重，尤其是在大城市，有些人认为只有政府才能解决，问你的看法。400字。

　　If then a practical end must be assigned to a university course,I say it is that of training good members of society.Its art is the social life,and its end is fitness for the world.

给以一段材料。大概就是今年的世界公厕日，北京的公厕有了改革和转变，有一些新功能比如ATM机，以及可以购买热饮等，同时还为环卫工人和公厕保洁人员提供沐浴吃饭休息的地方。围绕这个写800字以上，除诗歌话剧体裁不限。

○翻译硕士英语基础（个人觉得这个部分是最难的，还希望同学们加强练习）
1选单词 15选10. （比较简单，非专八难度）
2完型   20个（单词比较简单但是文章有点绕主要考的还是近义词辨析）
3阅读5个（感觉都比较难，太多人名有点乱。最后一个是主观题，很简单，在原文就基本能找到答案）
4改错  专八难度，多加练习。
5作文 400字写的是对于广告的态度。

○ 翻译硕士英语
1. 30个短语翻译（15个汉译英 15个英译汉）（这部分考的都不太偏，个别比较生疏。）
  （一）英译汉（这部分大部分出的都是缩写）：有 ICU（重症监护病房）XL（特大号） MIN（最小值）CPC(中国共产党） APEC（亚太经合组织）还有两个相对来说比较偏比较难缩写（ASASP CAD）
  （二）汉译英：天龙山石窟毒驾产能过剩伊甸园微软阿里巴巴
2英译汉（主要讲了日语kouniqiwa 与ohayo onagayiximasi所使用人群的不同还讲了日语跟英语在语言方面的差异），这部分与以往相比简单，只有一个单词不认识--jogger慢跑者的意思（╮(╯▽╰)╭）。
3汉译英是关于山西北部风景的介绍（这个最令我意外，因为按照常理来讲，山大每年出的都是文学类的翻译，我练的全是文学类翻译，可是今年题型变化比较大，属于旅游方面的实用性文体翻译。涉及到很多专业术语：云冈石窟悬空寺万年冰洞宁武悬棺之类的，所以希望同学们能够从不同的文体练习翻译）

○百科知识
1名词解释（10个）儒学王国维内圣外王明城墙云计算民国（以前考过）谁言寸草心，报得三寸晖（其他想不起来了。）

2应用文写作写一则招募志愿者的广告
3 大作文写关于处理人与人之间关系的文章，比较好写。（就像高考作文，个人觉得不需要花费太多的时间准备这方面）

2014年
整体难度在专八水平，考试时间三小时，算是充裕，一般都有检查的时间。
一，20个单选（难度专八，语法词汇类型的多）
二，选词填空（15选10，词汇是专八或者专八以下难度，比较基础）
三，完形填空（三选一）
四，改错
五，阅读：共五篇（前四篇选择，最后一篇填空）有一篇是写发现DNA双螺旋结构的James Dewey Watson通过研究发现一个不安的事实——非洲人的智商不如其他洲的，由此担心非洲的未来。当然这种“歧视性”评论引发抗议热潮，科学家被逐出实验室。
翻译基础：
一，词汇翻译
考了两个和写作有关的词汇：Apostrophe(省略号)这个我没写出来，还有一个square brackets,刚开始没想起来，后来想起来了，是“方括号”的意思。其他都是比较基础的常用的词汇，不偏不难。
例如：CPI（消费者物价指数），APEC（亚太经合组织），CPC（中国共产党），BBC,
FIFA, IMF, H1N1,加班费(overtime pay)，清明节，西部大开发（development of the west regions），教务处（这个我蒙对了，teaching affairs office），
二，段落翻译
第一篇是英译中，Youth原文
Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

第二篇是英译中，是一个学生回忆西南联大的散文。原文在网上实在找不到。
翻译这门科目整体题量适中，留有斟酌时间，科学安排复习稳扎稳打肯定可以。
汉语写作与百科知识:
第一题，25个词汇解释，每个2分，共50分。
我记得的有：清明上河图，后现代，无厘头，周文王，周易，不惑之年，牛市，民国，辛亥革命，灌水，暂时就想到这些了。
第二题，应用文写作，写一篇产品说明书，三百到五百字。40分。很容易，因为谁也会购物，而购物就免不了看一看说明书，所以内容和格式都不必发愁。
第三题，大作文，60分。“你”“我”“利”“损”四个字任意组合可以产生出很多种表达：损人利己，损己利人，损人不利己，损人损己，既不利人也不利己等等，根据以上内容写一篇不少于八百字的文章。
