　　Good morning ,dear teachers,

　　It’s my pleasure to be here to take this interview. Now, let me introduce myself briefly to you.

　　My name is Zhang Tao,23 years old. My hometown is Nanyang, which is a very beautiful place famous for its ox and jade. There are four members in my family: my parents, my little sister and me. Both of my parents are common farmers. They are very diligent and have done a lot to me ,I will try my best to make them live a better life in the future.

　　I will graduate from Xinyang Normal University this July. My major is Geographic Information System in the Urban and Environmental Science Department. During the past four years, I have been working hard on my major. I was granted the second class scholarship and the national study-supporting scholarship.

　　Besides my major, I liked English very much and spent a lot of time on it .In my opinion, English is not only useful but also very interesting. Everyone knows that English is an important tool when communicating with others, especially with foreigners. And through English , we can learn another culture. I can enjoy so many beautiful English songs and movies. Studying English has become a part of my life. Finally , I passed the College English Test Band 6 with high score of 597 when I was a sophomore. I have obtained the first prize of the National English Contest for College Students in the year of 2005 and 2007.I also passed the Oral English Test. From studying English , I learn that there is nothing difficult if you put your heart into it.

　　Apart from study, my life in spare time is also colorful. I have many hobbies. The first is Astronomy. I like watching stars in the night. I have bought my own telescope and always use it to find constellations. The second is music,especially foreign music. No matter pop music, rock and roll, country music or jazz, if they have beautiful melody or meaningful lyrics, I will listen to them again and again and enjoy myself. The third is computer. I have my own computer, I have no interest on computer games, what I enjoy is reading news, learning software knowledge, and making comments in the forum on line. Now, I am very good at computer and always use my computer knowledge to help others, which makes me very happy.

　　I love Geography from child and my dream is to be a Geographer and to do some useful to our country one day. After four years’ study, I find my knowledge on geography is still not enough. Central China Normal University has a history of 100 years and a good reputation in the field of Human Geography. I strongly believe I can realize my dream here. This is why I choose to further my study here.
