小三日记：每日更新

今天背完C打头的单词了（2005/6/28）
真TMD累阿，好不容易被完C打头的单词了！

上学的时候都没这么上心背过单词。还是第一次这么背单词。

网上有很多背单词的方法。个人感觉：背单词是个很累人的活，真的没有什么好办法，只有重复的记忆。

我背单词的方法很简单：
早上：5：30-7：00之间（有时候睡过了头，就只好少背）将单词每10个左右分成一组，抄下来，中文意思也抄下来，多看几遍，然后多念几遍，过滤掉容易记住的单词，在几个重点单词下面划线，着重记忆！

然后上班，坐公共汽车，脑子里要经常回忆早上背过的单词，当然有些记不起来，没关系，能想起几个就记几个，记住的基本上就可以进入你的记忆库了。

工作中。。。。。

下班的时候跟上班的时候一样，再回忆。尽量回忆。

晚上吃完饭，出去遛小孩，三岁的小子真皮阿，跟他出去一趟，出一身汗。
大约8：30回家，洗澡，给小孩洗澡。（以上工作可以让老婆代劳，如果她愿意的话）
9点，哄小孩睡觉，躺在孩子身边背单词（同时开始，哄小孩睡觉不耽误背单词），晚上复习不仅局限于早上背过的单词，还要将前几天背过的单词一块复习，比如今天早上背123页单词，晚上复习要从90页开始，直到90-100页的单词全部记熟以后，晚上复习就可以从100页开始了。把自己记不住的单词记到一个专用的本子上（本子要干净，容易翻，不能太厚，容易携带）
10：30睡觉，有时看儿子酣酣睡相，自己就忍不住困了！

另外:固定搭配也要记下来，记在刚才那个本子的反面。正面是不熟练单词，反面是固定搭配（把例句也抄下来）
小本子可是宝贝了，没事的时候常看看！

感觉D打头的单词简单一些，很多词都有印象。

另外，ftp也建好了，昨天晚上把六人行的第一季传了上去。今天准备传星火单词和新概念3 flash,希望能给看过贴子的人有些帮助

昨天晚上浪费了一晚上（2005.6.30）

老爷子把家里机器的系统整坏了，没办法，修吧！本来想重作系统算了，后来看着看着，勾起我维修的欲望。就到处查。最后查出毛病来了，也到了11点了，真败给自己了！重做系统也就半个小时就完了，结果整了三个多小时！心疼死我了（三个小时的黄金时间阿，多宝贵）。
早上下大雨，被雷惊醒了，一看表4点半，就爬起来背单词，当是弥补昨天的损失吧。不过头脑不清醒，没背几页。又想，还不如多睡一回呢！
可能年龄大了，总是患得患失！
下大雨，弄的交通堵塞，上班迟到了。因为老想着迟到的事情，在公交车上也没回想几个单词。

今天真背！净浪费时间了。

昨天在英语论坛上看一哥们说是花了一个月时间背完了新概念三的课文，我觉得这个方法挺适合我的，决定从今天开始也背新概念三，本人愚钝，一个月肯定不行，两个月吧！

默写新概念3的第一课（2006.7.1）

A puma at large
    Pumas are large ,cat-like animals which are found in America.When reports came into London Zoo that a wild puma had
been spotted forty-five miles south of Lodon. They were not taken seriously.However ,as the avidence begun to accumulate,
experts from Zoo felt obliged to investage,for the (描述,记不住单词了) given by people who claimed to have seen the purme were (出奇的) simmlar.
    The hunt for the  purm begun in a small village where a women picking blackberries saw "a large cat" five yards away from
her,it immeditly run away ,and experts confimed that the purm will not attack a human being unless it is corner.Serach proved
diffcult ,for the puma were offten observed at one place in morning and at another place twenty miles away in the envning.
Wherever  it went ,it left behind it a tril of deed deer and small animals like rabbits.Paw prints were seen a number of place and
puma fur was found clinging to bushes.Sevrial peoples complaned of " cat-like noise" at night and a businessman on a fishing
trip saw the puma up a tree. The experts were now fully convience that the animal was a puma .But wher had it come from ?
As no puma had been reported missing at any zoo in the country,this one must have been (拥有) of private collector and
somehow managed to escape. The hunt went on sevrial weeks ,but the puma was not caught.It is disturbing to think tha a
dengrious wild animal is still at large in the quiet countryside.

convince

使。。。确信 被动用法。

本课中印象最深的是 for 作为解释原因的使用

for the descriptions given by people ....(people 不能用复数，上面的默写就写错了，高中就没好好学习，真TMD)

都是解释前面的句子.

Thirteen equals one
  Our vicar is always raising money for on cause or another,but he hasnever managed to get enough money to have church clock repaired.The big colock which used to strike the hours day and night was damaged many years ago and has been silent even since.
  One night ,however ,our vicar woke up with a start: the colck was striking the hours ,looking for his watch ,he saw that it is one o'clock,but the bell struke thirteen times before it stopped. Armed with a torch,the vicar went up into clock tower to see what was going on ,in the torchlightm, he caught sight of fiuger whom he immediatly recognized as Bill Willkens ,our local grocer.
  "whatever are you doing up here ? Bill" asked the vicar.
  "I'm trying to repair the bell." answered Bill "I've coming up here night after night for weeks now,you see,i hopping to give you a surprise."
  "You certainly give me a surprise" said the vicar "You probobly woke up   evry on in village as well ,still , i'm glad the bell is working again."
  "That'a trable ,vicar"answer Bill "it is working all right ,but i afraid that at one o'clock it will stike thirteen times but there's nothing i can do about it "
  "We will get use to that,thirteen is not as good as one,but it is better
than nothing .Now ,let's go downstairs and have a cup of tea."

默写新概念3第三课

An unknown goddess
  some times ago,an intersting discover was made by archaoelogests on Aegeanisland of Kia.An America team explored a temple which stands in an ancient cityon the promotory of Ari IRR(地名，忘了怎么拼了). The city must have been propersous,for it enjoyed a high level of civerlization. Houses--often three stroeys high were bilud of stone.They had large rooms with beautiful decorated walls.The city was even eqqipped the drainage system ,for a great many clay pipes were found beneath the narrow streets.
  The temple which archaoelogests explored was used as place of worship from the fifteenth centry BC until Roma time.In the most sacret(神圣的) room of the temple,clay fragments of fifteen stutas were found.Each of these represented(代表) a goddessand had ,at on time,been painted.The body of one status was found among remains datingfrom fifteenth centry BC,its missing head be among remains of fifth centry BC.This head must have been found in the Classical time and carefully preserved.It was very old priously even than.When the archaoilogests reconstracted the fragments,the were amazed to find that the goddess turned out to a very morden-looking women. She stood three feet hige and her hands rested on her hips.She was wearing a full-length skirt which swept the ground. Despite her great age,her was very graceful indeed.But ,so far ,the archaoelogests have been unable to discover her indentity.

Double life of Alfred Bloggs
   These days,people who do manual work  often recieve far more money than people who work in office.People who work   in office  are frequilily reffered to as "white-collor works",for the simple reasot than they usually wear a collor and tie to go to
work.Such is human natrue,that a great many people are often willing to scarifice higher pay for privilage of becoming white
collor works.That can give rise to curious situations, as it did in the case of Alfred Bloggs who worked as a dustman for the Eill
Corporation.
   When he got married,Alf was too embarrassed to say anything to his wife about his job.He simple told her that he worked
for the Corporation.Every morning,he left home dressed in a smart black suit.He then changed off overalls and spent next
eight hours as a dustman.Befor returning at night, he changed back off the suit.Alf did that over two years and his fellow
dustmen kept his secret.His wife has never discovered that she married a dustman and nevell will,for Alf has just found a new
job,he will soon be working in an office.He will be earing only half as much as he used to.but he feels that his rise in the status
is well worth the loss of money.From now on,he will wear a  suit all day and anothers will call him Mr.Bolggs not Alf.

比较喜欢新概念

每一篇小短文都很好玩。

另外，我发现同时背单词和课文会让一个方面降低效率，不过感觉应该是个人基础太差的事情。只能坚持一下了。  
       到网上查了一下各学校的招生情况（主要是去年的信息）。原来想考个比较好考的地方，比如山东师范大学的传播学院，考的东西都学过，而且不考数学。不过，最后还是决定考山大计算机。这样的话，从八月份开始就要开始复习数学了。个人的计划是花一个月半的时间把同济大学的高数看完，并且作完课后的习题！（99年的时候我用了一个月多两天的时间干完上面的工作，现在年龄大了，并且很多年不用，不知道能不能完成。）

下午单位网突然断了，让我紧张了好一阵

一条主光纤接入线路断了，如果影响到明天的工作就完了。只好又跑到单位来，心情不好，也没怎么看书。幸好早上把新概念3的第四课背 完了，要不又影响进度了。晚上9点的时候，单位的光线通了，心里踏实一点了。希望这样的事情越少越好！回家再看看单词。
        到单位打了会CS，发挥特别的好，打沙2，打死58个人，只死了5次。好长时间不打了，没想到阿！今天唯一让心情愉悦的事情！只是以后不再打了.

第四课要点

2、will 的用法：

默写第五课

The facts
  Editors of newspapers and magazines  often go to extremes to provide their readers with unimportant facts and statistics.Last year, a journalist had been instructed (by a well-known magazine) to write an artical on the president's palace in a new African publish.Whe the artical arrived,the editor read the first sentence and (then) refused to publish it.The artical began:'Hundreds of steps lead to the high wall which surrounds the president's palace." The editor at once sent the journalist a fax intraucting him to find out exact numbers of steps and height of the wall.
   The journalist immdiately set out to obtain this important facts.but he took a long time to send them.Meanwhile,the editor was getting impatient ,for the magazine would soon go to press.He sent the journalist two more fax,but received no reply,he sent yet another fax informing the journlist that if he did not reply soon he would  be fired.When the journalist again failed to reply,the editor relcutatantly published the artical as it had originally been written.A week later,the editor at last recieved a fax from the journalist.Not only had the poor man been arrested,but he had been sent to prison as well.However,he at last had been allowed to sent a fax in which he infomated the edtor that he had been arrested while counting 1048 steps leading to the fifiteen-foot wall which surrounded the president's palace.

最后一句真罗嗦，不过很好背，应该算是个样板。需要精读

看第六课去了。我的ftp上有flash课件，老师讲的很好。听一遍，然后背诵。效果很好，哪里是重点难点，背诵中回忆。

对于我这样的基础很差的人，大量的背诵可以记忆很多成型的句子，对于写作和阅读理解都很有帮助。另外，对培养语感和英语的理解能力都有帮助

Lesson six Smash-and-grab

The expensive shops in famous arcade near Piccadilly were just opeing.At this time of the morning,the arcade was almost empty.Mr.Taylor,the ower of a jewellery shop was admiring a new window display.Two of his assistants had been wokring busily sigogohed.Diamond necklaces and rings had been  beutifully arrenged on a backgroud of black velvet.After gaing at the display for sevral minutes,Mr.Taylor went back into his shop.
  The silent was sunddly broken when a large car,with  its headlights on and its horn blaring,roared down the arcade.It came to a stop outside the jewellery's.One man stayed at wheel while  two others with black stocking over their faces jumped out and smashed the window of the shop with iron bars. While this was going on,Mr.Taylor was upstairs,he and his staff began  throwing the furniture out of the window.Chairs and tables went flying into the arcade.One of thieves was struck by a heavey statue,  but he was too busy helping himeself to diamonds to notice any pain.The raid  was all over in three mintues,for the men scrambled back into the car and it moved off at a fantastic speed.Just as it was leaving,Mr.Taylor rushed out and ran after it(throwing ashtrays and vases),but it was impossibal to stop them(the thieves).They had got away with thousands of pounds worth of diamonds.

我原来也是直接作阅读，可是很多句子和单词都不熟悉！想先从背诵开始，另外背诵对写作有好处。我现在也在作阅读，每天一到两篇！我想在9月份之前完成英语的第一遍学习（背完新概念3和4的前十几课,把单词差不多背一遍，不过现在看单词玄了)！八月份还要开始数学和专业课的复习。

希望以后多指点，我现在太需要引路人了。另外，我想问一下，参加考研前的四级考试对考研有好处吗？

  A recent case concerns Jane Butlin,whose fiance John,runs a successful furniture business.John had a very good day and put his wallet containing 3000 pounds into the microwave oven for safekeeping,then he and Jane went horse-riding.When they got home,Jane cerrorr in the mircowave oven,and without realizing it,cooked her fiance's wallet as well .imagine their dimay when they found a beautifully-cooling wallet and the notes turned to ash.John went to see his bank manager who sent the remains (of wallet and money)to the special department of the bank of England in Newcastle:mutilated ladies.They examined the remains and John got all his money back."So lang as there's something to identify,we will give people their money back" said a spokeswomen"Last year we paid 1.5m pounds on 21000 clims."

lesson eight

The Great St.Bernard Pass connects Switzerlangd to Italy.At 2473 miles,it is the highest(mountain) Pass in Eroup.A famous monastery,which was found in the eleventh centry,lies about a miles away.For hundreds of year, The St.Bernard dogs have saved lifes of travellers crossing the (dangerous) Pass.These friedly dogs,were fisrt brought from Asia,were used as watchdogs in Roma times. Now that a tunnel has been built throught the mountains,the Pass is less dangerous.But each year,the dogs are still sent out to snow wherever a traveller is in diffculty,Despite the new tunnel , there are a few people who rashly attempt to crosse the Pass on foot.
  During the summer months,the monastery is very busy,for it is visited by thousands of  people who crosse the tunnel by cars.There are so many people about,the dogs have to  be kept in an enclosure.In winter,life at  monastery is quiate  difficulty.The temperture drops -30 and a few people attempt to crose the Pass.Monks prefer winter to summer for they have more privacy.The dogs have great freedom too,they are allowed to winder outside their enclosure.The only regular vistitors to monastery in winter are parties of skiers  who go there at Chrismas and Easter.These young people,who love the peac of the mountains,always received a worm welcome at St.Bernard's monastery.

本课的重点，我觉得是几个非限制性定语的用法：

要出去学习几天，有一周的时间不能在这里写日记了，回来补上！

阅读一天一到两篇量不够吧,应该做足四篇,每天坚持做,做完后把里面不认识的单词和句子抄下来学习,尘尘的学习方法,你可以试试.
四级的难度和考研英语相差比较大,没什么可比性,个人意见.
英语成绩的提高是个很缓慢的过程,尤其是基础不太好学习起来比较费力,但是千万要坚持住,所有的付出都会有回报的~
